ELECTROCHLORINATION
If you want to save on chemical costs and improve the efficiency of your system, you should consider Electrochlorination.
Electrochlorination is the process of using salt, water and electricity to produce a low pH Sodium Hypochlorite solution directly on site. It is highly efficient because the system can respond to the levels of free chlorine in the water and apply dosing only when required.
Our Ampro range of electrochorinators allow this highly cost effective and controllable form of disinfection to be viable even for smaller applications.
Prodose has over 100 references from projects in the UK and worldwide on which we have specified and installed electrochlorination systems. Our extensive track record includes a wide range of applications including food production, school swimming pools, borehole water treatment, potable water in buildings, as well as cleaning in place (CIP) for a well-known soft drinks brand.
An advantage of electro-chlorination is that it can be produced using no other ingredients other than common salt, electricity and water. This negates the need to store chemicals and eliminates the potential dangers of chlorine gas.
The electrochlorination systems we install range in size from units that dose at levels from 100 grams per hour right up to 10 kilograms per hour.
Our range of AMPRO electrochlorinators are ideal for many of these applications and come with a full after sales support package. These machines are ideal for small footprint systems and have features such as integral hydrogen degassing, making them safer for installation by third parties.
We always assess each project individually because our aim is always to specify the most suitable equipment to meet your requirements. The fact that we are not tied into any particular manufacturer or on commission to sell certain products means we are impartial and able to supply equipment from a range of suppliers.
Take advantage of our specialist expertise with regard to electrochlorination. Our years of wide experience in working with these systems means we are in a very strong position to assess your system and advise you on the best course of action.
Our advice is impartial, and we won’t advise a course of action or recommend a piece of equipment unless we know it offers a genuine benefit to your process.

MP Range Electrochlorinators
Available in two capacities 25 g/hr and 100 g/hr the MP electrochlorinators are wall mounted electrochlorinator capable of generating a sodium hypochlorite solution strength of 7 g/l.
The system is operated via a Colour Touchscreen HMI which allows a high degree of system monitoring for the operator.
The wall mounted compact system comprises: an electrolytic cell and hydrogen degassing column, a water flowmeter and control valve with water flow switch, inlet water solenoid valve, a brine pump, and a hydrogen dilution system with integral airflow sensor.
The MP offers a high degree of system sophistication in a compact design.

MPX Range Electrochlorinators
Based on the MP Range format the MPX comes in two capacities; MPX-250 and MPX-500 which are capable of generating the equivalent of 250 g/hr and 500 g/hr of free chlorine.
As per the MP Range the system offers a high degree of sophistication and process information via the touchscreen HMI, in a compact wall mounted assembly.

High Capacity Skid Mounted Systems
MPI Series are high capacity set ups supplied as skid mounted systems.
Available in three capacities 1200 g/h, 2400 g/hr and 5000 g/hr the systems offer uncompromising safety, reliability in a simple to install format.
Each MPI Systems comprises; a brine dilution system per electrolytic cell, an electrolytic cell, hydrogen degassing tank, sodium hypochlorite transfer pump, simplex electric water softener, a brine pump, and a hydrogen dilution system with integral airflow sensor.
